More than 300 students earned diplomas during Westminster College’s 168th Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 14, in the College’s Will W. Orr Auditorium.
The Broadcast Education Association (BEA), which has a long history of recognizing Westminster College’s student achievements in the broadcasting discipline, has released its first ranking of schools, naming Westminster to the top 100 overall list.
Works created by two Westminster College students achieved high honors from the Broadcasting Education Association (BEA) during its 2022 Festival of Media Arts, an annual competition of colleges and universities with media and broadcasting programs.
A Westminster College senior, with the help of the Drinko Center for Undergraduate Research, was able to fund a self-created short film titled “Imagine a Quest.”
Eight Westminster School of Communication senior capstone students will present individual short films and documentaries in two separate screenings on Sunday, Dec. 5 in Mueller Theater, located in McKelvey Campus Center.
