PASAY CITY, Apr. 15 Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Affairs Brigido J. Dulay welcomed French Ambassador to the Philippines Michèle Boccoz at the Department of Foreign Affairs on 13 April 2021.
Undersecretary Dulay and Ambassador Boccoz reaffirmed the close ties between the Philippines and France, stronger cooperation in the areas of defense, maritime, business and investments, and health.
Among other topics discussed were the Philippine Government’s vaccination plan and France’s contribution to the COVAX facility, upcoming commemorative activities in line with the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the two countries in 2022, and further engagements on key priority areas, including France’s new role as Development Part
