Parrent said food vendors will be more spread throughout downtown to alleviate crowd pressure in the Marion Street area where the main food court usually is. She said the parking lot next to the justice center will have some food vendors as will the farmer s market area on Main Street.
The committee also learned the Trigg County Tourism Commission is pledging $20,000 to book entertainment for the two days with the program to consist of mostly local musical acts.
Trigg County Family and Consumer Science Agent Cecilia Hostilo said cooking and canning contests will be held as they were pre-COVID with the exception of the bake off and pork recipe contest, which won t be held this year.
The Trigg County Extension Office will be hosting an in-person homemaker meeting next month.
