California is a hotbed of toxic policies, yet Michigan and Delaware think it sets an example: Both states proposed tax credits for union dues

Both Michigan and Delaware recently proposed California-like tax credits for union dues, which, in effect, force taxpayers to subsidize Democratic candidates and policies.

This legislation was introduced late last month with the aim of creating a tax credit for union workers, who are active and pay annual fees.

The president of a state contractors group says a proposed bill that would allow union members to claim a tax credit for their union dues is unfair.
