Reddit announced that it is introducing a new Contributor Program, which will allow eligible redditors, including mods, to be rewarded with real money for their content and contributions on the platform.

Reddit has also simplified the rewards system to fit the new Contributor Program. Those who frequent the Reddit website or app and contribute to communities might be happy to know that the social networking site will now show their appreciation for posts, which will be done through actual payments, granted that they earn gold awards from users who like their posts.
