The Conway Area Youth Leadership Institute (CAYLI) held their first session of the year on Wednesday, visiting the City of Hope Outreach, Independent Living Services and the Conway Ministry Center.
Four St. Joseph High School juniors joined 18 other area students in enrolling in this year’s edition of the Conway Area Youth Leadership Institute (CAYLI).

Shaneil Ealy, associate vice president of the University of Central Arkansas Division of Outreach and Community Engagement, was honored by the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce as Outstanding Woman in Nonprofit.
The award was presented at the chamber’s ninth annual Women in Business Awards on Tuesday, Dec. 8 at Reynolds Performance Hall.
Ealy devotes much of her free time to several local organizations such as the Conway Area Youth Leadership Institute, UCA Women’s Leadership Network, Conway Downtown Partnership, Conway Area Chamber of Commerce’s Minority Business Task Force, Conway Public Schools Foundation and others. Through her work, Ealy was recognized with the award for her commitment to advocating for others, connecting people with resources and like-minded mentors, elevating the student experience and investing in her community.
