In November, Indias eight key infrastructure sectors witnessed a year-on-year growth of 7.8%, down from the previous months 12.1%, according to the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. The Eight Core Industries (ICI) index had grown by 5.7% in November 2022. Positive growth was observed in coal, electricity, fertilizers, natural gas, refinery products, and steel.
