it, giving face to it and yes, you know, this president is anti-climate change, pro-life, pro-gun, pro-marriage, saying he s not for same-sex marriage. this is what the republicans love and these pro-life and everything like that. the other stuff is the problem. for this senator to say that i believe, we ll start hearing other senators who feel safer in their districts or congressional leaders who feel safer in their districts to give voice to this and give their faces because we ve been hearing this for so long behind the scenes and now it s out. of course senator corker doesn t have anything to worry about. he s not committing political suicide, he is not running again. but he is in the bible belt who still there are still some in that community who love this president. jason miller, you worked for the president s campaign. you worked in the transition. you re still very loyal to the white house. what s your reaction to this today?
the nice stuff has been put out there. the candy, the rates but we don t know much about how they re going to pay for it. i don t think anything will be easy. the economy was going to grow 25%. am i wrong? that s what they re telling us is that s how you ll make up for the deficit and it will be great. you know corker doesn t buy into that. corker doesn t totally buy into it, but he buys into it a little. he has evolved. he has evolved. and on top of tharkts i ve been surprised by my kfrgconversation the hill with republicans. they seem hopeful about things getting through. when you talk to them about health care and other things they were like, that s never going to happen. but this, they know that 2018 rides on this. they know all of the things they talked about over the last however many years, they have to get it done. they seem hopeful about that. they do seem hopeful.
and how he carries out foreign policy. i obviously disagree with bob corker completely. i think his comments are petty. i think they re alarmist. you think it s petty to think that donald trump has displayed incompetence and attacking tillerson and mattis? yes. i think corker doesn t like the president he doesn t like the president, he was one of the first people to endorse him. that s just not true. i think he doesn t like this this is my version of events, which i don t think the president respects the president. i don t think he likes the president. i think he s gone public with his criticism of the president. for conservatives like myself we have long had concerns with bob corker including some of his actions around the whole background of the iran nuclear deal. i think it s unfortunate. i don t like tasee republicans at each other s throats. but when it comes to this fight
