the globe sick? now something you would like to eat, sweet treat used as the latest tool against terror. it s called operation cupcake. and you ll never imagine how it is keeping us safe from al qaeda. this is an interesting story. looking forward to that. but first, remarkable weapons in the war against cancer. researchers are now celebrating two new drugs that target the deadliest form of skin cancer, melanoma. and a third drug that has shown results in preventing breast cancer in women at high risk. david kerley has the details. reporter: researchers consider this treatment a stunning success in battling melanoma skin cancer. which when it attacks organs is a stubborn and sadly some times impossible disease to treat. this is going to be a revolutionary way to treatment patients with cancer. reporter: scientists revealed a new drug, vemurafenib, which targets genetic cell mutation which affects about half of those with melanoma. corky corcoran is one of those patients.
