LEWISTOWN State Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman, R-Bellefonte, whose district includes Mifflin and Juniata counties, expressed his support for the constitutional amendment questions voters will face in May, urged people to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and weighed in on the situation between Lewistown Borough and the municipal authority on Tuesday in a sit-down with The Sentinel via Zoom.
First on Corman’s mind was the continued fight against the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“To me, obviously, dealing with the pandemic is still enormous and getting the vaccines out has been one of our top priorities,” he said. “I think they’ve been pretty well received. It’s been trying to clear up information for people in the 34th Senatorial District.”
