N.C. reports 688 new COVID-19 cases, 815 hospitalizations

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - North Carolina reports its fewest single-day COVID-19 case count since early in October.
The state reported 688 new confirmed cases on Monday.
The state said there are 815, which is the fewest reported since early September.
The total number of people who have died of complications with the virus is now 12,891 in the state.

12,921,812 tests have been given in N.C. as of Sunday, and the percent of positive tests reported was 4.7 percent.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Health officials in North Carolina reported Tuesday an increase in 1,148 of new COVID-19 cases.
North Carolina also reported 23 more deaths and 1,103 hospitalizations due to the virus Tuesday.
Health officials also confirmed 48.5 percent of adults are partially vaccinated and 38.8 percent are fully vaccinated.
Anyone 16 years and older became eligible for the vaccine starting Wednesday, April 7.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - North Carolinaâs daily COVID-19 case count dropped Monday after it had been slightly increasing for the past few days.
North Carolina Department of Health and Human services reported 1,096 hospitalizations, 31 deaths and 1,380 new cases Monday.
Officials also reported 46.6 percent of adults are partially vaccinated and 34.8 percent are fully vaccinated as of Friday.
