On May 17, Littleton Police Corporal Jeff Farmer became the first officer in Colorado to receive a Medal of Valor, the highest national award for valor by a public safety officer.

Colorado Corporal Jeff Farmer of the Littleton Police Department was awarded the Medal of Valor on Wednesday, 5/17/22. Farmer is credited with saving the life of a fellow officer after the two responded to reports of a shooting in 2021.
