Corps Prep Program News Today

The University of Montana once again topped a national list ranking 1,487 four-year colleges and universities on their overall contribution to the public good.

In the “service” category, UM ranked above many of the nation’s prestigious private and public institutions, including the University of Notre Dame.

Teki K. Hunt, director of 4-H youth development programming for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, encourages Arkansas youths to consider volunteering for the U.S. Peace Corps.

MSU is ranked No. 6 by the Peace Corps on its list of the top 25 volunteer-producing colleges and universities during the past 20 years.

The University of Montana has been named the top university in the country for service to its community and the country.

Washington Monthly lists UM as the No. 1 institution in the country for its “highest concentration of community and national service.”

Six students, who will complete their degree requirements in Spring 2022, have received the highest recognition from their colleges for their overall academic excellence by being named a College Scholar. They will be recognized at the May 2022 Commencement ceremonies.
