A boating accident near Marker 37 Marina around 2:30 p.m. has resulted in one person dead and another injured, according to Corpus Christi Assistant Fire Chief Billy Belyue.
The Corpus Christi Fire Department participates in the Fill the Boot Campaign every year and all proceeds go to The Muscular Dystrophy Association. CCFD's overall goal this year is $100,000.
