CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â Happy 2021 to everyone!
We start the New Year with much colder temperatures across the South Texas area, courtesy of a frontal boundary that came in early yesterday with some decent rain to finish 2020.
We officially ended up with 1.29 inches of rainfall at Corpus Christi International Airport on Thursday, giving us a yearly total of 25.92 inches for the year and a deficit of 5.84 inches from the previous year. It was a deficit indeed, but better than the more than 7 inches below normal we were facing just two days ago.
