Sarah Huckabee Sanders request for a $104,000 appropriation transfer to increase the extra help appropriation in the governors office to cover the cost of former Department of Corrections Secretary Joe Profiri serving as a special adviser in the governors office in the fiscal year that ends June 30.

Attorney General Tim Griffin filed a motion Friday to disqualify the state Board of Corrections lawyer in a Freedom of Information Act case, saying the board cant hire an outside attorney under a specific state law because that law pertains only to constitutional officers, and board members arent constitutional officers.
