With the number of commercial trucks in B.C. experiencing rapid growth, truck drivers say they have few options left for parking, especially south of the Fraser River, forcing many of them to park illegally.

Nearly two weeks of overnight on- and off-ramp closures are scheduled for Interstate 81 at exit 205 in Rockbridge County. The nightly ramp closures are from Monday night through Sept. 2.

The bus route is still recovering from COVID. The four separate routes are all increasing in ridership, with the route that stops in Staunton being the busiest.

With ridership across all Virginia Breeze routes up 52% compared to last summer, DRPT may not be done expanding its intercity bus service.
