On deck is a rezoning application proposed by Oasis Park LLC for about 60 acres along Cosby Road, Millwood School Lane and Village Square Parkway in the Matoaca District, which is near Cosby High School. The rezoning would pave the way for a 575-unit development called Oasis Park that would consist of 400 townhouses and a 175-unit assisted living facility.

MIDLOTHIAN, Va. (WWBT) - Normally the Polar Plunge would see thousands flock to Virginia Beach in support of Special Olympics Virginia, but this year’s pandemic environment has things working a little bit differently.
In lieu of a massive plunge at once this year, Special Olympics is asking supporters to plunge in their own ways. Cosby High School is using social media to raise money for the cause and spread awareness throughout its community.

The next stage of a massive multiuse development taking shape beside Cosby High School in Midlothian is coming into view.
Main Street Homes, the Midlothian-based builder behind the 68-acre Cosby Village development at Hull Street and Otterdale roads, recently unveiled plans for Cosby Village Square, a commercial section that would fill nearly 20 acres along Hull.
Planned to total 122,500 square feet of commercial space, the section would add to other parts of Cosby Village that include a Publix-anchored shopping center, a 305-unit apartment complex and hundreds of townhomes to be built by MSH.
