People should never forget law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice, said Priceville Mayor Sam Heflin, but they should also never forget the families who are left behind.

Citizens and officers with sheriff's offices in North Alabama, including Morgan County, Limestone County, and Huntsville, will gather and pay homage to those who gave their lives in the line of duty.
