FRAMINGHAM The deep discord between Mayor Yvonne Spicer’s office and members of the City Council was on display again during a listening session on reimagining the city’s businesses post-pandemic.
At the conclusion of the forum which was broadcast Thursday on Zoom a hot microphone picked up a conversation between Jennique Horrigan, Spicer’s executive assistant, and the mayor. During the conversation, Horrigan accused District 4 City Councilor Michael Cannon of flooding the Zoom chat with questions and comments.
“What killed me was Mr. Cannon flooding the chat room,” Horrigan said after the forum concluded. “This isn’t for you. You’re not a business owner.”
