Sekulow, we discussed President Biden’s new commission on the judiciary. Is this the Biden Administration’s court packing commission?
They’d like somewhere between nine and fifteen members of this commission, which is likely what they’d prefer on the U.S. Supreme Court. Chairing President Biden’s commission on the judiciary is his former campaign attorney, Bob Bauer. This is someone who only works for liberals, chairing this commission. That tells you a lot.
President Biden is strategically installing a partisan attorney as chairman of this commission. This attorney is not only partisan, he’s also a proponent of term limits on federal judges, which are currently lifetime appointments under the Constitution. Changing that would require a constitutional amendment. Instead of packing the courts with new justices or judges, you just give them an expiration date and they are automatically removed.

Sekulow, we discussed how Democrat Senator Pat Leahy is set to preside over the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump – a move that is clearly unconstitutional.
This came out yesterday after we went off the air. Chief Justice Roberts, while not putting out a statement, has made it clear to the U.S. Senate that he was not going to preside over the impeachment trial of a private citizen. In his mind, I think he’s put out there the idea that this is not the impeachment of a sitting President. Well, if this was another current officer or office holder in the federal government like a cabinet member or a federal court judge, then the Chief Justice would never preside. Under those circumstances the President Pro Tempore of the U.S. Senate presides. That is the longest serving member of the Party with the majority caucus of the U.S. Senate. Right now that is Senator Pat Leahy of Vermont, a Democrat, and he will be running the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump

Sekulow, we discussed how a bipartisan agreement on a stimulus package relating to COVID-19 was reached by the House and Senate late last night.
Initially it did not look like Congress was going to be able to come to an agreement. And I’m sure this stimulus won’t make everyone happy. But I do think there was a consensus, amongst conservatives as well that don’t like government stimulus plans and bailouts, that they thought our country needed another stimulus.
They felt we needed another stimulus for individuals who do work, as well as for individuals who are unemployed. We also needed one for small businesses in the form of Payment Protection Program loans. The point of those loans is to give small business an incentive to keep their employees on staff and receiving their salaries, even if those businesses are located in one of the states where the restrictions are such that businesses are not really able to operate. Sekulow, we discussed how members of the House of Representatives have sent House Speaker Nancy Pelosi a letter demanding Congressman Eric Swalwell’s removal from the House Intelligence Committee. Rep. Swalwell is currently embroiled in a scandal involving a long-term connection with a Chinese Communist spy.
Mainstream media may not consider the Congressman’s connection with a Chinese Communist spy worth covering, but this is a major scandal.
Congressman Swalwell serves on the House Intelligence Committee. He was also one of the major backers of impeachment and up until the last month was calling President Trump a Russian agent. These revelations show the height of hypocrisy since it came to light that Congressman Swalwell had a connection with a Chinese spy. She even placed an intern in his office. This is not a theory. It actually happened.
