A Bedford man accused of providing the drugs that contributed to an overdose death pleaded guilty to one charge in exchange for the dismissal of two other charges.

From Mirror staff reports Two men are facing felony charges in connection to a Bedford County shooting, which occurred as a group of activists traveled through Bedford in August, court documents stated. Bedford County District Attorney Lesley Childers-Potts announced Friday her office filed criminal charges against Schellsburg resident Terry L. Myers, 51, and Orsino V. Thurman, 37, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Myers was arraigned Friday by Magisterial District Judge Tonya Osman on more than 40 charges, including aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment, court documents state. Thurman was charged with eight crimes, including aggravated assault, prohibited possession of a firearm, simple assault and reckless endangerment.
