A crash involving a dump truck and passenger car killed two people Tuesday morning. Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened just before 10 a.m. on County Road 33 at Austin Merritt Road. The names of the victims have not been released. State Road 33 was closed in both directions in Groveland at Austin Merritt Road as of 10:30 a.m., according to Florida 511.
