The 2020 Effingham County United Way Campaign is currently underway.
To date, a total of $126,419 has been raised, which is 39% of the $320,000 goal. The Effingham County United Way Board of Directors is asking for your help during these unprecedented times.
Funds raised help 20 local partner agencies provide support and services to those in need in Effingham County. The global pandemic has greatly affected fundraising efforts as fundraisers previously scheduled were cancelled due to COVID.
Prior to the pandemic, one out of three people used services provided by the agencies. Because of the pandemic, these agencies are serving more people in our community during these difficult times.
