January 22, 2021 / 9:18am / Julie McClure If you are out and about today, it s a good day to swing by Espresso Royale on Neil, Oregon, or at Village Green, to get yourself some coffee or tea or a pastry, and toss a little extra in the tip jar. Today, 100 percent of tips will be donated to Courage Connection. You can also tip using a card. Today happens to be Chai Friday, if that s your kind of drink. They also have a list of very tasty mochas on their winter menu, including orange and clove, gingerbread white, peppermint bark, and spicy Mexican. Katy was born on May 16, 1988, in Urbana, the daughter of David and Cheryl (Hudgens) Pyer.
She is survived by her parents, David and Cheryl Pyer of Champaign; sister, Valerie (Skyler) Tinsman of Farmer City; and niece, Cecilia Tinsman.
Katyâs life was full of adventure, travels and wonderful friendships. Her presence brought with it laughter, music and festivities. She would leave a lasting impression through her quick wit and humor. Katyâs life touched many, and she will be greatly missed. âWeâre all stories in the end, just make it a good one.â
Cremation rites will be accorded, and there are no services scheduled at this time.
