According to the updated data released at 8 am Sunday by the Union Health Ministry, the country's COVID-19 confirmed caseload rose to 4,46,42,742 with the reports of 1994 new cases, while the death toll reached 5,28,961.
India's COVID-19 active caseload currently stands at 96,442. The active cases account for 0.22 per cent of the total cases across the country - 4,43,68,195.
