The confirmed cases included: 115 on O‘ahu (+19 probable); eight on Hawai‘i Island (+2 probable); 10 on Maui (+7 probable); 15 on Kaua‘i; seven on Moloka‘i; and four Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state (+2 probable).
Of today’s 72 cases, there were 60 cases identified as confirmed, and +12 probable cases were added to the count. The confirmed cases included: 44 on O‘ahu (+7 probable); four on Hawai‘i Island (+4 probable); seven on Maui (+1 probable); five on Kaua‘i; and four Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.
In Maui County, the seven day average for new cases daily is 16, with a 1.7% test positivity rate over 14 days. This is +11% from Nov. 18 to Dec. 1, 2021. For every 100,000 residents in Maui County, there have been an average of 9.6 newly reported cases per day over the last seven days.
