“I want to work with cars when I finish school,” he said.
“Cars are such cool machines because I like anything with motors.
“There are all different designs of cars that are capable of all different things.”
The second annual CQUniversity STEM expo featured technology and information associated with everything from saving the Great Barrier Reef, turtle nesting and habitats, and coastal marine ecosystem research, to responsible waste management and protecting Gladstone Harbour.
Students and teachers from primary school level to university post graduates absorbed the knowledge on display at Gladstone’s marina campus.
Guest of honour was Queensland chief scientist Professor Hugh Possingham, who presented a key note address on the importance of science and mathematics in shaping the future.

Work has begun on a $13.5M School of Advanced Manufacturing at Gladstoneâs CQUni Marina campus.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison joined Federal Member for Flynn, Ken OâDowd and CQUniversity vice-chancellor and president Professor Nick Klomp to turn the sod on the project that seeks to âturbochargeâ manufacturing capability in the region.
The Gladstone school will be complemented by a School of Mining at CQUniversityâs Rockhampton North campus, with work set to commence on that site in the coming weeks.
Mr OâDowd said the construction of both schools would provide a major economic boost to the region with hundreds of jobs to be created during the construction of both projects.

UPDATE 9.56AM: A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said crews were called to Bryan Jordan Dr at 9.01am. It is believed the woman fell into a one metre deep hole at CQUniversity Gladstone Marina. A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a patient was taken to Gladstone Hospital in a stable condition.
