A Lynn man spat at police after feeling seven officers to deal with his drink-driving offence was heavy-handed.
Anton Kuzmenok s spittle did not hit Sgt Craig Hawkes but a spit hood was put over his head and he was arrested for common assault as well as the motoring offence.
Prosecutor Eleanor Sheerin told Lynn Magistrates Court on Thursday that door staff at The Globe Hotel had tipped off police about a possible drink-driver just after midnight on September 18.

Kuzmenok was stopped in St Ann s Fort. Mr Kuzmenok confirmed that he had been drinking and his last drink was ten minutes before. He also told police at this time that he only had a provisional licence.
