Now what this means for us is that we will see some fire weather watches in upper elevations of the north bay, although that fire risk is a lot less and than it was last week when we had those really hot temperatures and those stronger winds but something to note, 50s and 60s for your current temperatures for most of the bay once you head up into the north bay we do have some upper 40s in areas like Nevado Petaluma and santa rosa, some of our cooler spots this morning. Later today and noticeably cooler day than what we have especially been seeing last week 70s in San Francisco and oakland while only in the low 80s in san jose. We have plenty of fog out there, if theres any good news, the low clouds, the fog, the marine layer is with us this morning but that will abruptly change throughout the afternoon, as we get into i awind advisory, 4 00 through 11 00 on monday. Northeasterly winds 20 to 35 miles an hour, will be at the surface, with gusts near 50 miles an hour, could even be higher. Were looking at the possibility of downed trees and power lines and 8 00 tonight, were looking at our red flag warning going into effect for all the lower elevations in the valley floors. Now t will be 11 00 in the north bay mountains and east bay hills and here winds gusting to 70 miles an hour with relative humidity below 5 . Were certainly gearing up for that right now. So please reduce your speed john. Well as you can see over the bay bridge robin weve got a mix of cloud cover and sunshine now you can see thats a mix over San Francisco. Things are gradually getting more and more bright but as you also noted weve had some drizzle this morning so roadways are a bit on the slick side. More and more clear skies into the afternoon means a better chance to enjoy some of our cooler temperatures today, were still in the midst of some moderate to get air quality now thats definitely better than we have been will still be holding on to these moderate conditions through the weekend and likely into the start of next week too.
