ISROs Ambitious Mission on Track to Send Humans into Space

New Delhi: Science and Technology Minister Jitendra Singh on Saturday said the successful test flight of the abort mission of the Gaganyaan project has set the stage for the remaining qualification tests and unmanned missions, which would lead to Indias first human spaceflight.

ISRO's ultimate goal is to send humans into space, placing them in a Low Earth Orbit at 400 kilometres for a three-day Gaganyaan mission and safely returning them to Earth.
