A 29 year old Santa Rosan is in stable but serious condition after being shot early Saturday morning. Police and an ambulance responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the area of the 2600 block of Coffey Lane. However, by the time they arrived, the victim was already transported to the hospital by a private party. Police located numerous shell casings in the area along with a vehicle with shot out windows and multiple bullet holes. The victim is being treated for multiple gunshot wounds with their identity not being revealed. SRPD Violent Crimes Investigators have taken over the investigation but no suspects have been arrested at this time.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A Shreveport man is behind bars, accused of his alleged role in a shooting that one man dead and a woman injured.
Michael Riley faces a count each of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder.
The shooting took place just after 10 p.m. on April 2 in the 6200 block of Singletary Street.
Upon arrival, officers found a woman with non-life-threatening injuries and a 50-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department has made an arrest in connection to a shooting and robbery in late January 2021.
Nathan Carl Lee, 33, faces a charge of attempted second-degree murder and armed robbery.
Officers were called on Jan. 30 to the 4800 block of Monkhouse Drive regarding a shooting. At the scene, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was sent to a Shreveport hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Violent Crimes Investigators determined that the victim was shot after accepting a ride from Lee, according to a news release from SPD.
