The potential danger of discarded roadside flairs. They are believed to have sparked this smoky fire around noon today, and a similar fire in the same spot monday night. The forecast cal fire crews are bracing for a challenge. This wildfire in the Sequoia National forest was caused by lightning, a prime example of how quickly flames can spread especially in a remote area.
