SKOPJE (North Macedonia), March 15 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia s government said that nine international bidders have qualified for the second stage of a tendering procedure for a concession contract for the construction of the Cebren hydro power plant (HPP) - a project expected to cost at least 500 million euro ($596.8 million) to 600 million euro.
The government selected five consortia and four individual bidders to continue the tendering procedure, out of ten candidates which submitted expressions of interest, it said in a statement on Saturday.

SKOPJE (North Macedonia), December 23 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia has received ten expressions of interest in its tender for a concession contract for the construction of the Cebren hydro power plant (HPP) - a project expected to cost at least 500 million euro ($608.9 million) to 600 million euro, the government said on Wednesday.
Six consortia submitted expressions of interest with their members including Turkey s Enka, Ozaltin and Yapi Merkezi, Greece s PPC and Archirodon, Austria s EVN and Verbund, France s Eiffage and Spain s Cobra, the government said in a press release.

SKOPJE (North Macedonia), December 18 (SeeNews) - North Macedonia s economy minister Kreshnik Bekteshi said on Friday that 67 companies have so far submitted expressions of interest in a concession contract for the construction of the Cebren hydro electric power plant (HPP) in cooperation with state-owned electricity company ESM.
The government needs to check the final list of submitted offers after the deadline expires on December 18, Bekteshi told a press conference streamed on the government s Youtube channel.
North Macedonia s government invited expressions of interest in the tender for awarding a concession contract for the construction of the Cebren HPP in February. In March, it extended the application deadline to December 18 from April 3.
