SOLI Presents: Galaxies In the second concert of its 30th season, SOLI presents a colorful and exciting program with a world premiere of Carl Schimmels’ Three Paintings of Marvin Cone as well as a work by Cross-Country Chamber Consortium winner Kyle Rivera, Anaglyph: A Repository of Imaginary Languages. The works of this program encourage the listener to surrender to a vast array of soundscapes, from chaotic and busy, to serene and meditative. Tickets are $15 lawn seating, and $25 patio seating.

The Cross-Country Chamber Consortium Announces The First Winner Of Its Black, Latinx And Indigenous Commission Award

In 2021, Atlanta Chamber Players (Atlanta), Decoda (New York), Fifth House Ensemble (Chicago), Musiqa (Houston) and SOLI Chamber Ensemble (San Antonio) announced the creation of a new consortium aimed at increasing diversity in modern chamber music repertoire. Now we are proud to announce that Benjamin Horne has been awarded its first ever Black, Latinx and Indigenous Emerging Composer Commission.
