COSHOCTON – To those around her, it’s obvious Angie Cantrell has a heart to help. Like, for instance, at the Chestnut Crossing Learning Center.
“My goal,” she said, “was to supply every avenue I could to help make the children’s situations better, to educate, and ultimately help guide them to a more promising future.”
She and her husband of 28 years, Kevin, have also opened their home to more than 50 foster children over the past half dozen years.
“We’ve specialized in sibling groups,” she noted, “to ease some of the stress on children by keeping them together. It’s been very trying, but ultimately worth seeing at least part of the family unit to be able to stay together.”
