>> i would. he has a winnebago and he made a lot of news out here during 2018 for taking that thing up and down the fourth congressional district. i think hes got a lot of crossover support. and hes exactly the kind of representatives we need. people bringing fresh, new energy and great ideas and being able to also reach across the aisle on the right things and work with both sides. he would make a great congressman for the fourth congressional district. a lot better than steve king. so if steve...

It looks increasingly likely that thats the route everyone thinks the president is headed toward. democrats are about to vote just now on one more bill to open up another section of the government that will likely receive a good bit of crossover support from republicans and then go nowhere in the senate. legislatively this isnt moving. thats part of the reason you saw lindsey gram daham essentia daring the president to go with the national emergency. it seems to be the only thing that hasnt been...

She did go vote today. she said shes feeling good. dana? >> dana: peter doocy, thank you. for more on this im joined by josh krashaur. this is the last federal election of 2018. theres been hype that this race is close, but is it really that close? >> yeah, this is getting a lot of attention because its the on game in town, but in reality theres not a lot of signs that this will be competitive. we saw in the first round about on election night republicans won 57% of the vote and espn only got 40...

So in this case, mcsally is using donald trump going hard core on the immigration issue because she can only rely on republican turnover, she cant get crossover support. >> crossover support, very important, and if you just look at latinos for a moment, and im going to pew research for the numbers. this is the question asked of them is which party cares about them more, and you can see in 2018, the number in terms of democrats, it went the other way despite messaging in the last week, for instan...

San antonio, dallas, places where hes going to get out the base nation to getting crossover support. as your previous guests were saying, there are a lot of republicans that love donald trump, but they have reservations about ted cruz. and ill just say that what i hear in the suburbs of these places, these cities, is a lot of defection. i think the defection rate of republicans going over to vote for beto orourke is going to be a lot greater than usual for texas. at the same time f beto orourke ...

Was going to lose the election and he didnt. its a bit confusing as well because they of course have to go home and they have to run again. members of the house have to run every two years. theres a batch of republicans up for re-election every two years. and its not clear what carried donald trump to the white house is going to carry them. and so i think that that really is the dynamic that from a political perspective we want to hone in on over the course of the coming months because at the en...

Politically wise. the arrogance is never a good thing discounting a group of your own party is never a good thing. he needs crossover support to turn in a blue state. these democrats making out with him and in love with him now on other news networks, they will not pull the lever for him in 2016. be very, very careful. they will turn in two seconds and vote for hillary clinton. >> he was to go through the iowa caucuses which are very, very conservative. he goes to new hampshire, very, very conse...

Some crossover support. the race on my mind is looks like this thing has broken in eliza warrens favor. shes favored to win tonight and this post-election scenario that could kick off. we know hillary clinton is of statry would very much l look at it this way. if john kerry is picked to betate and elizabeth senate race tonight, then it means that thereto will be a senate vacancy in massachusetts that fi it means scott brown who is a massachusetts even if he tonight would be abl run in that speci...

District, traditionally republican area, came home to me this time. i was proud to receive the crossover support from a lot of people. >> it has been for a very long time a republican district. for you to be successful, i assume youll have to prove your credentials on deficit reduction, on conservative spending proposals. one of the things you said, saying that was too severe, you said theres wasteful spending in washington and im going to fight to get rid of it. id start with foreign aid to pak...

they have not been able to sleep. >> im scared somethings going to happen if we go to sleep. and im not going to be awake to hear it to help everybody else. i just -- in my mind, it just keeps going over and over. >> tonight could be another restless night in joplin and across an already stressed region. lets get first to chad myers in the cnn severe weather center in atlanta. >> we have 25 tornado warnings right now. that means thatted p the radar from the national weather service pic...
