Millions of people across North America will view a rare event, a total Solar Eclipse. Its going to be visible along whats known as The Path Of Totality. That stretches 100 miles wide and spans 15 states as well as mexico and parts of eastern canada. Along that path, tens of millions of people will see the Afternoon Skies completely darken when the moon slips between the earth and sun temporarily blocking the suns light. Other parts of the u. S. Outside The Path Of Totality will be able to see a partial Solar Eclipse. Now there is a question about whether cloud coverage could restrict the view for some. Part of what makes today so special, the u. S. Wont see another total Solar Eclipse of this scale for two more decades.
