Updates in five minutes. Today the deadly accident for a crew along highway 17. Two workers were hit by a dump truck on the closed portion of this highway. Witnesses describe a chaotic scene. Investigators are still on scene trying to figure out what happened here but we do know a truck driver reversed hitting two of his coworkers. Its absolutely tragic. Its very sad. Reporter the truck in the Construction Zone near the mudslide along highway 17 struck two employees of granite Rock Construction who were working to clear the mudslide. He has confirmed a 53yearold man was killed at the scene and say his coworker 34yearold steven wittier from san jose was rushed to valley medical center.
