This year’s Memorial Day Parade will begin at the Carlsbad Prep Academy and head straight down Church Street to the Carlsbad Beach Bandshell.

More than a decade ago Megan Bowen dreamed of becoming an Eddy County judge. The dream came true after Tuesdays Primary Election.

Megan Bowen defeated Monica Martinez-Jones for Eddy County Magistrate Division Two and Kelly Calicoat won reelection in Division One Tuesday.
