The Arkansas Senate Ethics Committee rules that Republican Sen. Alan Clarks complaint against Democrat Sen. Stephanie Flowers was frivolous.

The Arkansas Senate Ethics Committee on Thursday didnt rule on an ethics complaint filed by Sen. Alan Clark, R-Lonsdale, against Sen. Stephanie Flowers, D-Pine Bluff, after meeting for more than nine hours about the complaint in executive session.

Arkansas Sen. Stephanie Flowers, D-Pine Bluff, has reimbursed the Senate nearly $3,000 that she improperly received in per diem and travel expense payments for Legislative meetings she attended via videoconference.

The Senate Ethics Committee on Friday held a meeting behind closed doors. It comes two weeks after Sen. Stephanie Flowers reportedly reimbursed the Senate for expenses she had received.
