A San Francisco judge on Wednesday opted to delay a motion from the District Attorney's Office to dismiss manslaughter charges against former SFPD Officer Christopher Samayoa, in order to give the state Attorney General's Office more time to consider the case.
San Francisco District Attorney investigator Magen Hayashi is suing her former boss Chesa Boudin and other attorneys, claiming she was told to commit misconduct.
The last loose end appears tied up in the first excessive force case against an on-duty SFPD officer, as the victim’s ex-girlfriend will receive a $47,5000 settlement.
