The Orthodontic Office of Dr. Blaine Langberg did it!
Thanks to the tremendous support and generosity of our patients, we were able to deliver 282 pounds of essential items to the Daily Bread Food Pantry in Danbury.
The Orthodontic Office of Dr. Blaine Langeberg made an additional $250 monetary donation to cover wish list items for the community. In addition, we gave $500 to the Ridgefield Food Pantry, which suspended the collection of physical items since March 2020 in favor of providing grocery gift cards to help our local residents in need.

WIGGINS, Miss. (WLOX) - Our Daily Bread Food Pantry is officially 15 years old. The pantry is still going strong, especially with more people relying on it during times of hardship.
Starting out with Hurricane Katrina, now to COVID-19, Our Daily Bread Food Pantry has been there to help through it all with one goal.
âTo minister to people, not just with food,â said Barbara Evans, director of Our Daily Bread. âI was on the group who first start it.â

It was a street parade, without the street. In lieu of the traditional Christmas Island Style street parade on San Marco Blvd., the group held a reverse or static parade on Saturday evening. The floats and exhibits stood still in the parking lot at Veterans’ Community Park, and the community members who wanted to see them drove slowly through the assemblage, staying safely in their own vehicles. Some cars came back around for a repeat.
While it couldn’t match the magnitude or the outpouring of spirit generated by the usual street parade, the static version drew hundreds or thousands of spectators, with a steady line of cars taking in the tableaux, decorated emergency vehicles, musical entertainment and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus.

In the wake of a global pandemic, many families need support. Communities have been hit hard by unprecedented food insecurity during these trying times. Local orthodontist, Dr. Blaine Langberg and his team, wanted to give back to the community as 2020 comes to a close so they connected with the Daily Bread food pantry in Danbury, CT. Their goal, to collect and donate 250 pounds of food before the year’s end.
