Albert Wright, last seen around 2:30 p.m. Friday, was supposed to be driving home from Kansas City to Blue Mound, Kansas, but never arrived, police said. He has early onset of dementia, according to police.

Police in Kansas City, Missouri, are asking for the public's help in locating a man last seen on Friday afternoon. Albert Wright, 83, was last seen at St. Lukes Hospital in the Plaza.

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — Thomas Health System said it has entered into a management and clinical affiliation agreement with the West Virginia University Health System. In addition, South Charleston-based Thomas Health said Wednesday that President and CEO Dan Lauffer announced his retirement.

Thomas Health, a hospital in Charleston, announced its affiliation with WVU Medicine Wednesday. The two will partner in managing the hospital and providing clinical services.

Thomas Health emerged from bankruptcy protection in 2020. Its board chair said partnerships are necessary for small systems to survive currently.
