In mid-2020, Canada’s C$170 billion Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP) bought a 25% stake in Dairy Holdings, the company founded by Tauranga husband and wife team Colin and Dale Armer.
The sale of 399,900 shares to PSP-owned Sooke Investments was for an undisclosed sum.
Dairy Holdings has grown to more than $1b in assets, holding 59 dairy farms that produce about 17 million kg of milk solids from 50,000 cows. Established in 2001, it is the largest supplier and shareholder in Fonterra.
