St. John s tabs a familiar face, Dan Alig, as its eighth head of school

Dan Alig will serve as St. John s eight head of school starting this upcoming school year.
Prior to serving as the Head of the Upper School at The Lovett School in Atlanta, a position he has held since 2013, Alig spent 13 years at St. John’s as English teacher, coach, college counselor, admissions associate, Upper School Dean of Students and English Department Chair.Courtesy photo from Dan Alig
St. John’s School has had seven Heads of School since its founding in 1946 its eighth leader will be somebody that is already quite familiar with the school.
