The city of Clarkston plans to disavow three contracts entered into by former city manager Shawanna Qawiy. The contracts are with Human Resources Dimensions, Inc., Pivot Path, and Prologic ITS LLC.
The Clarkston City Council held a special called meeting on Aug. 24 and approved an agreement with Sumter Local Government Consulting to engage an interim city manager.
After a brief executive session, the Clarkston city council voted unanimously to appoint the city’s finance director Dan Defnall as acting city manager.
