It’s not uncommon for RIC students to graduate with two majors. Keesha Sanchez is one of them. She will earn degrees in both biology and chemistry, plus she will be walking across the commencement stage with an interesting resume that includes research and a strong GPA, which has put her on the dean’s list for the past four years. Sanchez has always wanted to go into either medicine or dentistry. She says, “Many members of my family in the Dominican Republic are doctors, so you could say that it runs in my blood.”
