A team of assessors from the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group (WILEAG), will arrive on February 23rd, 2021 to examine all aspects of the Waukesha Police Department s policies and procedures, management, operation, and support services.

Verification by the team that the Waukesha Police Department meets the Board s state-of-the-art standards is part of a voluntary process to gain accreditation – a highly prized recognition of law enforcement professional excellence.
If an individual would like to provide comments to the assessment team, he/she may do so by telephone. The public may call 262-524-3831 on Wednesday, February 24th between the hours of 2:00PM and 3:00PM.
