Tenants evacuated from RidgeView Place in Langford over safety concerns frustrated, angry, concerned for those still living in the building.

Tensions were high Monday evening as residents of a Langford, B.C., apartment building deemed structurally unsafe voiced their frustrations to city council about an ongoing lack of transparency and support in the wake of the building's evacuation last month.

Processing began Thursday of applications for up to $2,000 in emergency funding from residents who had to leave RidgeView Place.
